VISION

The department’s vision is to produce practically oriented people who are competent and sensitive to address issues related to increased small farm productivity and development in developing countries.

The graduates in agricultural economics and agribusiness management should be able to participate in agricultural and agribusiness industry in a variety of roles such as agricultural extension and credit, administration, project planning and implementation, marketing consultancy, and self-employment.

Additionally, graduates in agribusiness management can manage agro-industries, marketing management firms and accounting.

Farm management graduates should be able to render services in management positions in large-scale farms, agricultural projects, extension programs and loaning agencies.
